The Regional Federation of Civil Society Associations in Giza holds a medical convoy in 6th of October City Written by: Rifaat Khalaf In accordance with the Civil Labor Law in practicing social, cultural, medical and other activities The Civil Associations and Institutions Law stipulates the controls that govern these associations and institutions in practicing various activities and implementing social programs in a manner consistent with the law. The Regional Federation of Civil Associations and Institutions in Giza, with the participation of the Horus Health Care Foundation, held a medical convoy inside the eighth district of 6th of October City on Friday, December 1. The convoy included various medical specialties to examine and dispense medications to hesitant residents of the city. The convoy witnessed a large turnout from those benefiting from the free medical service.At the head of the audience were Dr. Abeer Essam, President of the Regional Union of Associations and NGOs in Giza, Mr. Hossam Thabet, Member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Union, Chairman of the Health Committee, some public figures, and a number of heads of NGOs and associations in the city. The head of the regional union praised the convoy and the great turnout from the people of the city She explained that this convoy is not the first within the city, but was preceded by many free medical convoys, in addition to many social and cultural activities held by the regional union within Giza Governorate.
